Tan Thanh Holdings proposes 04 projects in Dak Lak

On the morning March 12th, the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee had a meeting with the investors of Tan Thanh Holdings to listen to proposals for implementation a number of projects in the province through the connections of the Institute of Green Economy and Vietnam Cooperative Alliance. Attending the meeting were Chairman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance Nguyen Ngoc Bao; Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee Bui Van Cuong as well as leaders of relevant agencies and localities.
At the meeting, the investors’ representatives proposed 04 projects that they want to invest in the province, including: Chain of pharmaceutical projects, ecological real estate, solar power and Buon Ma Thuot - Nha Trang expressway. Those four projects are expected to have the scale of tens of trillion VND in the direction of a green and sustainable economy in line with the potential of Dak Lak province.

Specifically, Tan Thanh Holdings Joint Stock Company proposed to invest in the project “The value chains of pharmaceutical plants associated with sustainable forest development in the Central Highlands - a model in Dak Lak”. With a scale of over 1,000 hectares, the total investment of phase 1 is up to 3,000 billion VND. This will be the first closed pharmaceutical production chain in Vietnam with international quality and standards.
The phase 1 of the project will be implemented in five years, from 2021-2025, with the following main items: GACP standard pharmaceutical growing area, the office of national pharmaceutical trading center in Buon Ma Thuot city, GMP-standard pharmaceutical processing factory, GSP-standard pharmaceutical warehouse, Agro-forestry-agricultural logistics center in the Central Highlands, Technical consulting and technology transfer center, Centre for the conservation of the first herbal varieties in the Central Highlands, Pharmaceutical park in the Central Highlands, Microbiological Fertilizer Factory of Acela in Vietnam.
After being officially put into operation, the projects will contribute hundreds of billions of tax to local budget, enhance the socio-economic development of the province, and promote the growth of the pharmaceutical sector. Additionally, those projects create jobs for over 2,000 local people, contributing to providing sustainable livelihoods for ethnic minorities as well as preserving forest resources and protecting security and national defense.

Tan Thanh Real Estate Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company proposed to invest in a lakeside resort project which has been surveyed and planned as well as the construction of resorts by the lakeside of Lak, Ea Kao and Ea Knop lakes with the ambition to turn those places into famous lakeside ecological resorts.

Tan Thanh Green Energy Joint Stock Company proposed to invest in Ea Sup solar power project with 16 plants, a total installed capacity of up to 2,600 MWP. In which, there are 12 factories with capacity of 150 MWP and 04 factories with capacity of 200 MWP. Initial investment capital was estimated to surpass 46,000 billion VND. The project will provide about 4.4 million MWH each year; thereby significantly contributing to ensuring energy security, reducing CO2 emissions, creating a stable power source for production and business activities, and development of the country.
A representative from Tan Thanh Real Estate Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company suggests investing in lakeside resorts.
Thuan Viet Holdings Group, Civil Engineering Construction Corporation No. 6 (CIENCO 6) and Tan Thanh Real Estate Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company have cooperated to invest in Buon Ma Thuot - Nha expressway project. That project plays an important role in the development of Vietnam Expressway Network through 2020 with a vision to 2030. Besides, the expressway will shorten the travel time from Nha Trang to Dak Lak down to less than two hours.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Bui Van Cuong appreciated the connection of the Institute of Green Economy and welcomed projected proposed by Tan Thanh Holdings, Tan Mai Group, Tan Thanh Green Energy Company, Tan Thanh Real Estate Company, Thuan Viet and CIENCO No. 06.
According to Secretary of Bui Van Cuong, those projects will not only exploit the potentials and advantages of the province effectively, but also be in line with the province’s orientation and goals of sustainable development.
Thereby, Secretary Bui Van Cuong suggested that related units should coordinate research and support to create conditions for businesses in accordance with proper orders and processes. He expressed his agreement and allowance of the implementation of the proposed projects, however, the implementation must comply with laws and the progress must be reported to the provincial leaders regularly.
“It is suggested that after having the Conclusion Notice of the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, the investors should report the specific implementation roadmap of each project to the provincial leaders for direct implementation. Dak Lak province is always ready to create the best favorable conditions for infrastructure and mobilize the political system in supporting those projects. Especially, the province will draw up plans on linking with the people and consumers to ensure the sustainability of pharmaceutical projects, improving people’s lives in rural areas.” – Provincial Party Committee’s Secretary Bui Van Cuong emphasized.
