INAUGURATING PHU LOC KINDERGARTEN SPONSORED BY GPI (KOREA)

On the afternoon of 11^th February, 2020, the People’s Committee of Krong Nang district in collaboration with the Korea’s Good People International (GPI) in Vietnam held an inauguration ceremony of Phu Loc kindergarten in Phu Loc commune, Krong Nang district, Dak Lak province.

On the side of Dak Lak province (Vietnam), the ceremony saw the participation of Ms. H’Yim Kdoh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee – Provincial Commissioner, Mr. Tran Trung Hien, Secretary of the Krong Nang district Party Committee, Mr. Truong Hoai Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Krong Nang district Party Committee, Chairman of the Krong Nang district People’s Committee among other representatives of departments, sectors, Party agencies, authorities, socio-political organizations, mass organizations in Phu Loc commune, Phu Loc kindergarten’s Administrative Boards, teachers and students. On the side of GPI (Korea), 11 members of a delegation led by Mr. Chung Kwoen Sam, GPI’s Permanent Vice President took part in the ceremony.

The Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations connected and mobilised GPI to invest in the construction of Phu Loc kindergarten which was started in March 2029.  The project has a total investment of 6.8 billion VND, of which GPI has sponsored 4 billion VND and the district has spent an amount of 2.8 billion VND of reciprocal capital.

After nearly a year of active construction, the work items have built 7 classrooms, kitchen, administration area, multi-purpose area, toilet, gate, fence, yard, internal roads and clean water supply system. The investor has regularly inspected, supervised the construction and coordinated with the construction unit to conduct pre-acceptance test of construction works in accordance with current regulations and construction schedule to ensure the construction plan.

Up to present, the project has been completed and qualified to put into use. After the inauguration ceremony, Phu Loc commune has a new, clean and nice kindergarten, which is suitable for teaching about 240 kindergarteners in the communal area. That is the happiness not only of Phu Loc’s teachers and kindergarteners, but also of the local people. From now, Phu Loc kindergarteners will have a spacious and clean learning place.

Delegates cut red ribbon to inaugurate Phu Loc kindergarten

This practical project will contributes to improve the education environment and nurture talents in Krong Nang district in particular, as well as in Dak Lak province in general. At the same time, the project will contribute to strengthening solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the two people of Vietnam and Korea.
