Joining hands to support four southern-Laos provinces to fight against Covid-19

At the ceremony, Ms. H’Yim Kdoh – Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee on behalf of the leaders of Dak Lak province, granted funding with a total amount of VND800 million to support the four southern provinces of Laos in purchasing medical equipment and materials to improve measures on Covid-19 epidemic containment.

On behalf of the four Southern-Laos provinces, Mr. Phonesamay Mienglavan - Deputy Secretary, Deputy Governor, Chairman of the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association of Attapeu province, thanked the Government and people of Vietnam, especially the Central-Southern provinces of Vietnam as Dak Lak and Kon Tum ... for their mental and physical support, medical equipment and experiences in the prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemic. He said that, the people of four provinces in southern Laos would be happy to receive the deep affection and sharing of Dak Lak people in solidarity and support the Covid-19 epidemic containment of the people of four Southern-Laos provinces.

Also on this occasion, the provinces of Attapeu, Champasac and Se Kong awarded Certificates of merit to Dak Lak province to thank for the province’s support and assistance in the containment of the Covid-19 epidemic.
