Groundbreaking for Social Housing Project in An Phu Urban Area

On the morning of October 20th, An Phu Urban Development and Investment Joint Stock Company officially commenced construction on a social housing apartment project within the An Phu Urban Area Project, located in Tân An Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City.
Representatives attending the ceremony included Mr. Vo Van Canh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Pham Van Lap, Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Truong, General Director of An Phu Urban Development and Investment Joint Stock Company; as well as leaders from various provincial departments and partner organizations.
This project is part of the urban development plan, which encompasses residential apartment buildings, commercial areas, subdivided land lots, parks, and schools, covering an area of 19.5 hectares. It is strategically located at the heart of the new central urban area in Buon Ma Thuot.
The social housing and commercial housing project has a total investment capital of 212 billion VND, with a total floor area of 30,904 square meters within a construction area of 10,174 square meters. The project developer, having completed over 20% of the allocated land infrastructure, has met the technical requirements for investing in social housing as stipulated by law. The project has received design and construction approval from the Department of Construction and a building permit from the Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee. The project developer has also secured the necessary financial resources for investment.

The enterprise stated that this project is part of the urban development plan, encompassing residential apartment buildings, commercial areas, subdivided land lots, parks, and schools, covering an area of 19.5 hectares. The overall urban area is a completed ecosystem, with construction density at less than 40% of the planned area and shared public utilities. The construction quality is high, featuring modern architectural designs, and environmental standards are met.
The project design includes nine 3-story apartment buildings, totaling 330 units, with 1 to 2 bedrooms, and each unit has a balcony. All buildings face the main urban area, and there are auxiliary facilities like parking areas, elevators, emergency response areas, and green spaces.

Additionally, to cater to the practical needs of the workforce, the developer has committed to implementing the project with high-quality materials and capable contractors. Each apartment is designed with modern and luxurious features. In close proximity to the social housing buildings are community facilities, a kindergarten, and green parks, ensuring convenience for families, especially for the care of children and the elderly.

The residents in this social housing project will share common living amenities within this high-quality and safe urban area. The sale prices of these apartments range from 600 to 900 million VND, depending on the location, making them affordable for the workforce. Through meeting certain conditions, homebuyers can pay only 30% of the cost, with banks offering favorable interest rates and a repayment period of up to 25 years.
According to the Buon Ma Thuot People's Committee, this is one of the three commercial social housing projects being developed by enterprises in the area. Two projects have already been granted construction permits, and the An Phu Urban Area Project quickly commenced construction after obtaining approval.
In addition to the three commercial social housing projects, there are three independent social housing projects funded by the budget and allocated for public officials and individuals with practical housing needs. All of these projects aim to provide more than 3,600 social housing units in the area from 2023 to 2025, as part of the city's strategic development plan for social housing, with a vision for 2030.
It is worth noting that current laborers can begin registering to purchase social housing in the An Phu Urban Area at the Project Management Office located at Ha Huy Tap Street, Tan An Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City.
