Investment promotion conference held in Lak district: Enterprises signs investment with total investment capital of VND 1.400 billion 

On April 16, the People's Committee of Lak district held an investment promotion conference in 2021 to introduce the potentials and advantages of the locality as well as incentive mechanisms, policies and lists of key investment projects calling for investment.

Attending and chairing the conference were Executive Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Pham Minh Tan; Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha; representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, relevant departments and branches of the province; leaders of the District Party Committee, Lak district People's Committee and a large number of investors inside and outside the province.

At the conference, Lak district People’s Committee introduced to investors the potentials, strengths of the locality and the list of key projects calling for investment. In the period of 2021-2025, Lak District identified agriculture and tourism as 02 sectors that play an important role in the socio-economic development of the district. For agriculture, Lak District prioritizes calling for investment in organic agricultural project, high-tech agriculture for crops such as rice, coffee, jackfruit, clean vegetables, herbs, etc. For tourism, the province prioritizes calling for investment in all kinds of ecotourism, nature exploration, combining conservation with existing potentials. Specifically, Lak district identified 19 key projects calling for investment in the district including 03 projects on agriculture, 03 projects on industry, 11 projects on trade – tourism – services, 02 projects on urban housing development.

Speaking at the Conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha highly appreciated the organization of Investment promotion Conference to provide information, call for investors inside and outside the province. He emphasized that this is just a beginning step. In order to implement the projects, local authorities must always accompany businesses, promptly remove difficulties, and create favorable conditions for enterprises to carry out investment procedures. In addition to calling for potentials investors, it is also necessary to create favorable environment, encourage the start-up movement in local production and business activities, especially young people.

At the Conference, the People’s Committee of Lak district signed and handed over the Investment Memorandum of Understanding of 03 projects with a total committed investment capital of over VND 1.400 billion including: Construction of Southwest commercial housing area of Lak Lake and Lien Son town center commercial housing area (Tan A Dai Thanh Group Real Estate Joint Stock Company); Yang Tao Industrial Cluster Project (Tri Viet Human Resources Investment and Training Joint Stock Company); Sports, Service and Resort Project in Lien Son Town (Saigon Construction and Trading Co., Ltd.).
