On the afternoon of August 15th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee organized a conference to summarize 15 years of implementing Directive No. 24-CT/TW, issued on July 4, 2008, by the Central Party Secretariat of the 10th tenure, and 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW, issued on November 4, 2013, by the Central Party Executive Committee of the 11th tenure. Comrade Pham Minh Tan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presided over the conference.

Attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, provincial People's Committee leaders, leaders of Party Building Committees of the Provincial Party Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and provincial-level political and social organizations. Also present were leaders of relevant departments, sectors, district Party Committees, city Party Committees, and subordinate Party Committees.
Over the 15 years of implementing Directive No. 24-CT/TW issued on July 4, 2008, by the Central Party Secretariat (10th tenure), on "Developing traditional Vietnamese medicine and the Vietnamese Traditional Medicine Association in the new context," the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee has provided leadership and guidance to all levels and sectors in thoroughly organizing and effectively implementing the directive, contributing to the development and continuous growth of the traditional medicine sector in Dak Lak province.
Currently, Dak Lak province has a Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital with 250 beds; provincial-level general hospitals and district-level general hospitals all have traditional medicine departments and specialized staff in traditional medicine. 156 commune health stations have been implementing medical examinations using traditional medicine. Out of these, 141/156 commune, ward, and town health stations in Dak Lak province have traditional medicine gardens according to the list prescribed by the Ministry of Health, and they have been conducting traditional medicine consultations for health care or organizing traditional medicine treatments alongside modern medicine.
Over the past 15 years, more than 123,807 patients have been examined and treated using traditional medicine in Dak Lak, combining traditional medicine with modern medicine. Currently, there are 03 district Traditional Medicine Associations, along with many officials, members, and people maintaining and cultivating various medicinal plant gardens at the Association's headquarters, such as in Krông Ana, Cư M'gar, M’Đrắk, which have continued to cultivate medicinal plants...

Regarding the results of implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW issued on November 4, 2013, by the 11th Central Executive Committee on "Fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization, modernization in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration," in the past 10 years, the province's comprehensive fundamental innovation in education and training has achieved significant results. The achievement of eliminating illiteracy, universalizing primary education and lower secondary education has been firmly maintained. The scale of education, the network of schools from preschool to university and vocational education is increasingly developing. Solidifying school and class renovation at all levels and sectors concerned. Currently, the proportion of schools meeting national standards in the province is 57.88%. By 2023, the total regular state budget allocation for education is 6,079,073 million VND, with the proportion of local budget allocation for education/total state budget allocation accounting for 49%.
Moreover, educational and training institutions are organized and allocated reasonably to meet learners' needs and develop human resources in the province. The quality of education and training is being improved, with the proportion of excellent students at all levels, the proportion of high school graduates and university admissions increasing compared to the previous years...
At the conference, delegates delivered speeches, discussions, and analyzed further the achieved results, existing difficulties and obstacles, lessons learned, and proposed solutions to effectively implement Directive No. 24-CT/TW and Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW in the province in the coming time.

In the concluding speech of the conference, Mr. Pham Minh Tan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, warmly praised the efforts, dedication, and achievements of Party committees, authorities, departments, organizations, and communities at all levels in implementing Directive No. 24-CT/TW of the 10th Central Party Secretariat and Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW of the 11th Central Executive Committee. In the future, Party committees, authorities need to continue to disseminate, mobilize, raise awareness and responsibility, and create consensus in the actions of all levels, sectors, and communities to effectively carry out the tasks and solutions to overcome limitations and shortcomings in comprehensive fundamental innovation in education and training, and the construction and development of traditional medicine in the province.
Investing further in facilities, equipment, and creating conditions for traditional medicine activities to develop fully and effectively; training, improving specialization for personnel working in traditional medicine; promoting scientific research, conservation, and development of traditional medicine at the local level; expanding the cultivation of medicinal plants for medicine, formulation, and production.
In addition, management levels and educational institutions across the province need to uphold responsibility, proactivity, creativity, and build a comprehensive education environment, developing the capacity and qualities of learners. Focus on renewing teaching methods, organizational forms, ensuring effective implementation of educational goals for each level and program.
Mr. Pham Minh Tan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, demanded that Party committees, authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, and agencies continue to enhance the achieved results, while sharing the experiences and successful practices of certain localities and units to effectively carry out the tasks of comprehensive fundamental innovation in education and training, and the construction and development of traditional medicine to meet the requirements of the new context.
Awards were presented to outstanding collectives and individuals in the 15 years of implementing Directive No. 24-CT/TW, issued on July 4, 2008, by the 10th Central Party Secretariat.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee presented certificates of merit to 24 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 15 years of implementing Directive No. 24-CT/TW, issued on July 4, 2008, by the 10th Central Party Secretariat, and 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW, issued on November 4, 2013, by the 11th Central Executive Committee.
