Opening Ceremony of the "Skillful Mass Communications" Competition for Administrative Agencies under the Provincial People's Committee of Dak Lak 2023 

On the morning of August 24th, at the Provincial Cultural Center, the Opening Ceremony of the "Skillful Mass Communications" Competition for administrative agencies under the Provincial People's Committee of Dak Lak in 2023 took place.

Attending the Opening Ceremony were the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Y Bier Nie, the Permanent Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Mass Mobilization Board H'Kim Hoa Bya, the Deputy Permanent Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition Nguyen Tuan Ha, as well as representatives of relevant departments and sectors.

The competition was held over 2 days (August 24th and 25th) with the participation of more than 180 contestants who are officials, party members, civil servants, and employees from 19 teams representing state administrative agencies under the Provincial People's Committee of Dak Lak.

In the competition, the teams went through three rounds: Greeting, Knowledge (theory test and handling of situations), and Skit "Skillful Mass Communications". The theoretical test focused on understanding the Party's viewpoints, guidelines, state policies and laws, and Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on mass mobilization work. This included work related to ethnic groups, religions, new rural development, civilized urban areas, grassroots democratic regulations, governmental mass mobilization work, resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, and major local implementation directions.

The handling of situations section required contestants to apply the Party's viewpoints and state policies and laws to address mass mobilization issues. It focused on areas such as land disputes, conflicts within the community, ethnic and religious policies, resettlement and compensation during land recovery, grassroots democratic regulations, handling group complaints, interpersonal relationships, organization contacts, and ethical behavior in public service. It also aimed to share experiences and effective methods in public mobilization work.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Deputy Permanent Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition, Nguyen Tuan Ha, emphasized that in recent times, mass mobilization work has been regarded as a strategic task of the revolutionary cause to strengthen people's trust in the Party, enhance the great unity of the entire nation, and foster the close bond between the Party and the people. It aims to gather and mobilize the people to effectively implement Party resolutions, state policies, and laws, and to harness the immense strength of the people, creating a widespread movement to build and protect the country.

The "Skillful Mass Communications" Competition for administrative agencies under the Provincial People's Committee of Dak Lak in 2023 is a politically significant, important, and practical activity in mass mobilization work. Through this competition, it is expected that the knowledge, communication skills, and public mobilization capabilities of officials, party members, civil servants, and employees at the grassroots level will be enhanced. It also contributes to the implementation of the 13th Party Congress Resolution, the 17th Provincial Party Congress Resolution, and the successful implementation of Party congress resolutions at all levels to continuously strengthen the grassroots Party organization.

Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, the teams entered the Greeting round, introducing their organization, unit, members, and their achievements in mass mobilization work. They also shared the purpose, significance, and spirit of their participation in the competition.
