Provincial People’s Council donates to COVID-19 prevention and control fund 

In response to appeals of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak Province on donating to the fund for COVID-19 prevention and control, on June 8th , the Provincial People’s Council held a ceremony to encourage donations to the fund.

Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Y Biêr Niê, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Y Vinh Tơr, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, and leaders of Committees under the Provincial People’s Council.
With the tradition of solidarity and mutual love of the nation and in support of COVID-19 prevention and control, the Provincial People’s Council called on officials and employees to donate at least one day’s wages to the COVID-19 prevention and control fund.

10 million VND was donated by the members of the Standing Committee of Provincial People’s Council, officials of the Provincial People’s Council at the ceremony. The donations will be transferred to the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak Province for COVID-19 prevention and control.

This is a practical and meaningful activity of the Provincial People’s Council to join hands with the community and support the Party and Government to strengthen the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic and ensure social security, safety, and health of the people.
